Help Democrats Take Back The House!

As we celebrate Passover and Easter Week — sacred celebrations of renewal, community and freedom — we are reminded of the need to take care of one another and to live out our morals in our words and in our actions. Right now, there is no starker contrast to our shared Democratic values than what is happening at the hands of the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress.

In partnership with San Francisco community leaders and advocates, we organized a public forum earlier this week to raise awareness about how the Trump administration and Elon Musk’s DOGE are putting Social Security benefits at risk. Republicans say, “We’re not touching benefits” but they are closing offices and shutting down the phones. These moves threaten whether new beneficiaries will be able to access their benefits and whether continuing beneficiaries will receive THEIR OWN MONEY.

Democrats in Congress know the difference that Social Security makes for seniors who can now have a dignified retirement and for people with disabilities. We will ALWAYS defend Social Security — for ALL Americans.

But let us not focus solely on what Trump and Republicans are trying to take away. Let us be mindful as well on everything we are fighting for: good quality affordable health care; care for our veterans, the elderly and the most vulnerable among us; our freedoms and Democracy.

We are continuing calls into swing House Districts currently held by Republicans so their voters know what’s at stake when their House Representative is casting votes on their behalf in Congress.

JOIN US to keep spreading awareness to Americans at risk of losing life-saving health care that WE can still STOP the Republican scheme to destroy Medicaid to give tax cuts to billionaires. By phone banking, we will help these Republicans hear from their own constituents to keep their MAGA Hands Off Our Safety Net!

Public sentiment CAN save Medicaid! Your calls, texts and stories have already moved a dozen of these vulnerable Republicans to write to their MAGA leaders to try to HIDE their support for backdoor Medicaid cuts. These Republicans know they are in danger of losing their seats if their votes DESTROY Medicaid that their constituents depend on — so keep calling with us!
