Help Democrats Take Back The House!
Dear Friends,
Trump and his unelected Co-President Elon Musk are attempting a hostile takeover of our federal government but House Democrats will not allow them to take over the role of Congress – laid out without ambiguity in Art. I of our Constitution. Congress alone has the power of the purse.
House Republicans may have relinquished their authority to Trump and Elon Musk, but House Democrats are fighting their illegal power grab in the courts, in the Congress and in our communities – with your help.
In his first term, Trump made many promises that he failed to fulfill – a wall, infrastructure week, a health care plan to replace our lifesaving Affordable Care Act. He did keep one major promise, however: his Republican Tax Scam that gave massive tax cuts to billionaires and big corporations, with 83% of the benefit going to the top 1% and adding $2 Trillion to the national debt.
Tragically, Trump is committed to doing it again with a $4.5 Trillion tax cut for billionaires and big corporations that Republicans would partly offset by ripping away health care from millions of Americans. Just this week, we got confirmation that Medicaid and coverage through the ACA’s Medicaid Expansion are the prime targets of their drastic cuts.
Together – we will STOP them and Save Our Health Care!
NO MANDATE TO GUT OUR HEALTH CARE
Democrats believe in science and are fighting for the health and financial security of all Americans. Republicans are planning to raid Medicaid – ripping away health care from millions – to pay for tax cuts for their ultra-wealthy and big corporate donors.
But make no mistake, Republicans do NOT have a mandate to decimate our health care. Today, 60% of Americans across party lines support the ACA – even without counting people covered through their state’s Medicaid Expansion who don’t know yet that “Kynect” in Kentucky or “BadgerCare” in Wisconsin, for example, is coverage under the ACA that ends if Republicans gut Medicaid.
House Democrats are united to Save Our Health Care, alongside YOU – our grassroots Volunteers in Politics. Our inside maneuvering in Congress can only do so much; your outside mobilization is what makes all the difference. We know that for many of you, the fight for the ACA and Medicaid is not only the cause of your life but the fight for life itself.
Even House Republicans in close districts recognize YOUR POWER and warned their leadership: hands off health care – or lose.

When we saved the ACA from Trump in 2018, we had 10K grassroots events across the country with people telling personal stories of what health care means to them – powerful storytellers like new DNC Vice Chair Malcolm Kenyatta and stage 4 cancer survivor and Health Care Advocate Laura Packard who joined me and other grassroots leaders virtually this week to Save Our Health Care.
We will stop Trump again and we will win back the House in 20 months. After our House Democrats grew our ranks in the last election, WE ONLY NEED 3 SEATS TO FLIP THE HOUSE and elect Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker of the House.

Support Democratic leaders fighting to Save Our Health Care and remind Republicans in office that their duty is to serve the people, not Donald Trump or his Unelected Co-President Elon Musk. Seven years ago today, 17 precious lives were stolen from this world at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. In their memory, we commit to doing everything in our power to end gun violence as we hold the survivors in our heart in their continuing journey of healing.
