Help Democrats Take Back The House!

This week we are commemorating the 15th anniversary of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act by recommitting ourselves to doing everything in our power to Save Our Health Care — and to strengthen it!  Today, we welcomed House Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar, San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie and our intrepid VIPs – Volunteers in Politics – to the Plumbers Hall for a very special Politics and Eggs mobilization.  Fueled by grassroots energy, personal storytellers and an ACA birthday cake, we vowed to keep up the fight for the dignity, health and well-being of all.

Our Thursday tele-town hall with Governor Andy Beshear highlighted how the Affordable Care Act is helping families in his state of Kentucky — and addressed your fears about the Republicans’ Medicaid sabotage and destructive threats to lives and livelihoods.

As we referenced on the town hall — “the math is conclusive: Republicans cannot cut 880 BILLION DOLLARS from the budget overseen by the Energy and Commerce Committee WITHOUT cutting Medicaid.”

We must stop them!

We cannot stress this enough. Trump, Musk and Republicans in Congress are working maniacally to undermine Medicaid, Social Security and Medicare, defund Veterans Care and completely dismantle our American Safety Net — straight from the pages of Project 2025. Republicans will make Americans sicker, poorer and less safe just so they can make the ultra-rich even richer. It is disgraceful.

It’s up to us to make sure that voters in Republican-held districts know that Democrats are fighting for them, even as Republican Representatives are too scared to meet with their own constituents. We can and will fight back, using all the tools available to us in Congress, the courts and our communities. We will hold them accountable now and at the ballot box.
